1. About Us

Krishi Vigyan Kendra South Tripura was established on 30^th May, 1984 under the Administrative control of ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region. Krishi Vigyan Kendra has been providing technology backstopping for the farming community since inception. The approaches of the KVK in use of information and communication technology like Trainings, Demonstration, Field Trials, Extension Activities, Group Dynamics, Development of various Instructional-Cum-Instructional units, Input supply and Advisory services have lead to effective backstopping for Technology Dissemination.

The technical report covers a brief report on local specific technological interventions made by KVK, South Tripura through On Farm Trials (OFTs), Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs), Sponsored Demonstration Projects, Training and Extension Activities, Farm Development for input production. The outcome of this document is a testimony to the genuine efforts of the KVK’s technological dissemination process.
